The performance of Hippex L.
The performance of Hippex is illustrated by a comparative analysis of Hippex L, Hippex and INRA96 using computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA system CEROS II from Hamilton Thorne) using a single ejaculate.
The results are presented in the graphical representations below.
The results show that sperm cells have a higher motility in Hippex L compared to the other extenders. Moreover, a higher motility is seen during storage, most notably at day 2 and 3. These higher values are also seen for other motion characteristics of the sperm cells such as the average speed aspects.
